Amir Khan MBBS, MPH, is a proud alumnus (2022) of JHBSPH which is ranked number 1 school of public health in the world where he majored in Health Systems and Policy and mastered skills in Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Previously, Amir earned his MBBS from Khyber Medical College , one of the prestigious medical institutions in Pakistan. Amir’s passion for medicine started in 2012 when he secured top ranking position in the medical entrance exam in Azad Kashmir. Over the time, his devotion in medical science earned him incomparable skills. His expertise includes, designing complex epidemiological studies; quantitative, qualitative studies and clinical trials. He is proficient in data analysis through application of advanced statistical tools. He can proficiently handle large national databases such as NSQIP, NCDB, NTDB, SEER, NHANES and is expert in statistical programming software Stata, R, Excel, and SPSS. His current work focuses on urological oncology.
Amir has great communication skill and is an outstanding diplomat in Global Matters of Public Health. He has held numerous events to uplift underserved areas in the world including talks & podcasts with Global Health Leaders, Heads of the States, Noble Prize Winners, Sports Stars, Ministers, and other excellencies. He has had incredible deliverables in fundraising, interactive talks, and political campaigning. He has spoken at numerous platforms about excellence in diplomatic work and reviving the outcome-oriented lobbying in complex as well as nuance public health matters. He has always been praised for his networking skills and bringing new ideas to his workplace. He is the founder of Pakistani Students Association at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health which was acknowledged by then Ambassador of Pakistan to the U.S in 2022.
